I've often wondered about the mutiny attempts we never read about in this story, just how many whiners they encountered, if the crying babies and exhausted mothers ever make them break down and weep too. Those poor guys. On another note, though, they must have had quite a presence about them, one of them being raised a Pharaoh's son and all, that would help sometimes to get the mob to listen, and follow again, as they were led by The One who spoke to them.

Thanks for reminding us! M

what I meant to say is that the struggles or sorrow somehow becomes a window to meaning, and our experience and understanding of the truth goes so much deeper than before.

So profound, Krista! Thanks for sharing this. What an amazing story; it really hits home for me. When truth emerges with new meaning, it certainly helps to lend weight to the struggles of life.

Ever read Men are Like Waffle, Women are like Spaghetti? Beth, woven tapestry is much more elegant for us women. But spaghetti fits too. Especially when my life is messy. :-)

Hey Krista! I am interested in all of the above. But mainly I am interested in you, my friend. We have so many different threads in our lives, of all the things going on. You could follow just one of these threads and blog about that; however no one would see how that fits in, or is woven, into the tapestry of your life. I would rather see the whole tapestry, and follow different threads at different times to see how they weave in and out of your life.

Good girl! I look forward to lots of future posts. Sometimes we sing the words of the song, "It is well" with tears streaming down our cheeks because life is NOT well, but we cling to the promise that, no matter how difficult our journey, the ONE who created us will never abandon us. That makes it "well." Love you.
